Downtown KCK History and Culture Bus Crawl

Have you heard? The Dotte is Hot! 

KCK Forward Young Professionals is extremely excited to announce "Connect the Dotte," a historical/cultural bus tour through downtown KCK with added stops at local pubs and attractions throughout Strawberry Hill!

We encourage young professionals from across the Metropolitan to join us and find out more about this unique and diverse town that was recently touted by 41 Action News as "the new, hot neighborhood!"

For a minimal fee, participants will get:
-- A bus tour throughout the downtown Dotte
-- A Branded Connect the Dotte T-shirt
-- Light Brunch by Carolyn Pender Marks of #NaturallyDesigned and beverages at the KCK Chamber
-- Historic stops throughout KCK with subject matter experts aboard 
to explain
-- Lunch (TBD)
-- AND stops at Strawberry Hill's popular watering holes with 
amazing drink specials including the final destination, at The Mockingbird Lounge - recent recipient of the 2017 KCK Chamber Business of the Year Award.

1) Park at KCK Chamber (727 Minnesota Ave in KCK) / Register / Lite Breakfast/Bruch

2) Begin discussing “Hmong Story Cloth / Kansas Printers” Mural on Minnesota
10:45 a.m.

3) Load bus in parking lot of KCK Chamber (727 Minnesota Ave. in KCK)
11 a.m.

4) Strawberry Hill Museum (720 N. 4th St. in KCK) 
11 - 11:15 a.m.

5) STOP @ Chicago's (534 Central Ave. in KCK)
11:20 a.m. arrive at Chicago's 
12:45 p.m. depart Chicago's

7) Drive past Boulevard Drive-In Theatre (1051 Merriam Ln in KCK), STOP at Rosedale World War I Memorial Arch (Park Dr, Kansas City, KS)
1 p.m. drive by Boulevard Drive-In
1:15 p.m. arrive at Rosedale Arch
1:45 p.m. depart Rosedale Arch

8) Board bus and drive past Sauer Castle (935 Shawnee Rd in KCK) toward Argentine PAUSE but don't get out 
2 p.m. drive by Sauer's Castle towards Argentine

11) STOP @ Johnnie's on Seventh (55 S 7th St in KCK)
2:15 p.m. arrive at Johnnies
3:15 p.m. depart Johnnies

12) Drive past Quindaro Ruins in Kansas City , KS (3507 N 27th St in KCK) 
3:30 p.m. arrive at Quindaro Ruins
3:45 p.m. depart Quindaro Ruins

13) STOP @ The Mockingbird Lounge (204 Orchard St. in KCK), final remarks from Danny & Mockingbird
