DESCRIPTION:FEATURED PRESENTATION: \n\n\n\nCongressman Kevin Yoder\n\nU.S. Representative\n\n3rd District of Kansas\n\n     Kevin Yoder is a fifth-generation Kansan who grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Yoder\, Kansas. He attended public schools in Hutchinson\, Kansas before attending the University of Kansas where he received his degrees in Political Science and English\, graduating with honors. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2002 and went on to practice law in Olathe\, Kansas.\n\n      Prior to being elected to Congress\, Kevin served as a State Representative in the Kansas Legislature for eight years\, representing Leawood and Overland Park. Kevin chaired the House Appropriations Committee where he led the effort to cut spending\, balance the state budget and fight tax increases.\n\n      On January 5\, 2011\, Kevin was sworn in to serve his first term as part of the 112th Congress. During his four years in Congress\, he has served on the House Appropriations Committee\, which is responsible for allocating federal spending. Since taking office\, he has consistently focused on balancing the federal budget\, reducing the national debt and supporting policies that stimulate private sector job growth.\n\n\n\nLuncheon Choices:\n\nSteak or Salmon. A Vegetarian meal option is also available upon request Chef Salad is no longer a menu choice offered by the Reardon Center.
