DESCRIPTION:The KCK Forward is proud to bring back Speaker at Stockyards Series in 2022! Join the KCK Chamber young professionals for drinks\, networking and a presentation by leaders throughout Kansas City\, Kansas. The event will take place once a quarter. \n\n\n\nWe are excited to present our first S@S program on Thursday\, Feb. 24\, at 6 p.m.\, at Stockyards Brewing Company. This program's presenter is Rachel Russell\, Director of Community Engagement for Cross-Lines Community Outreach and Board Member for the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools (District 500). More about Rachel below.\n\n\n\n\n\nRachel is a fierce and fun nonprofit professional with a strong dedication to volunteerism and service in both her professional and personal life. She currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement for Cross-Lines Community Outreach in Wyandotte County. Her primary duties include the recruitment\, placement\, and support of volunteers as well as maintaining and creating community partnerships. Outside of work\, Rachel is actively engaged in her community through volunteering her time on numerous civic boards and advocating for quality education for kids. Rachel was recently elected to serve as a board member for the Kansas City KS Public Schools where she hopes to re-imagine 21st century learning and improve educational achievement for all students within the district while focusing on strong parent and community engagement. Rachel is the proud mother of 3 beautiful children and currently resides in the Rosedale community of KCK.
