Join the group for networking\, a brief presentation\, and Stockyards beer. \n\n\n\nJudge Candice Alcaraz Bio:\n\nCandice Alcaraz is the first black female Judge in the Wyandotte County\, KS history. She was elected in August\, 2022 and sworn into office in January\, 2023. Judge Alcaraz handles both criminal and civil matters in her courtroom. Previously\, Alcaraz worked in the District Attorney's Office as prosecutor of juvenile offender crimes and adult felony cases. She is involved in many legal and local organizations. Locally\, she is a member of the Wyandotte County Bar Association\, Kiwanis Club\, Leadership 2000\, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City\, and the Kansas City\, Kansas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta\, Sorority\, Inc. \n\n \n\nAlong with her experience as a local young professional making a difference in our community\, Judge Alcaraz will touch on the following three points:\n\n	Be intentional with your ambitions.\n	Be wise in your rise.\n	Be true to who you are and what you can be.\n\n\nCheck out this great NPR story featuring Judge Alcaraz from earlier this year.
