Mayor Tyrone Garner is the Mayor/CEO of Kansas City, Kansas and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County. A lifelong resident of the area, Mayor Garner has dedicated his career to public service, including over three decades in law enforcement with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, where he served as Deputy Chief. Elected in 2021, Mayor Garner is passionate about community engagement, public safety, and fostering economic growth in KCK. His leadership focuses on creating opportunities, improving quality of life, and promoting unity across Wyandotte County.
