Small Business University - Beginning Class
The KCK Chamber is excited to introduce Small Business University, offered in four cohorts throughout the year. The first cohort will begin April 12, 2022. The six-week sessions are designed for KCK Chamber small businesses who want to learn, or tighten-up on topics relevant to their success. The cohorts will meet every Tuesday (for six-weeks), from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the KCK Chamber, and hear from subject matter experts/fellow Chamber Members on issues/skills training relevant to their success. This is a free KCK Chamber Member benefit. Below is the outline for the program:
Week 1: Introduction to the Program/Chamber Information, KCK Chamberand Digital Marketing, MyGen Marketing
Week 2: Cyber Security, Security Bank of Kansas City
Week 3: Human Resources/Employment Law, Nuby Law
Week 4: Retirement/401-K, Tax Favored Benefits
Week 5: Information Technology, SnapIT Solutions
Week 6: Leadership, Kansas Leadership Center

Each session will be scheduled as follows:
5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. – open networking
5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. – educational presentation
6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. – Q&A
6:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – networking/continued conversation
The class will be announced during the KCK Chamber Best of KCK Business Expo, on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Discounted booth rates will be available for class participants. Contact Katie Vivas, Director of Membership for details.
