Urban Hikes Quindaro Ruins
📍 Starting Point: John Brown Statue, KCK
Step back in time as we uncover the powerful history of Quindaro, a key stop on the Underground Railroad. This hike takes you through the ruins of a pre-Civil War town, where freedom seekers once crossed the Missouri River in pursuit of a new life. As we navigate the hillside terrain, you’ll see remnants of a brewery, well, and historic hotels that played a pivotal role in shaping history.
🔹 Approx. 3 hilly miles | 2-2.5 hours | $38 per person
