Keynote Speakers


Dr. Cristyn Watkins, MD
Founder, aNu Aesthetics & Optimal Wellness
 
Dr. Cristyn Watkins is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with additional certifications in Integrative, Functional, Metabolic, and Nutrition Medicine. She's the founder and medical director of aNu Aesthetics and Optimal Wellness, where she leads a team committed to helping patients achieve vibrant health and natural beauty for your inside and out.
 
With over 15 years of experience and multiple locations in Kansas City, Dr. Watkins is known for her innovative, personalized approach to advanced aesthetics, regenerative therapies, and whole-body wellness. As both a physician and a patient, she is deeply passionate about helping others feel their best is because she is lived through the journey herself.
SESSION ONE:

Hannah Williams, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Providence Medical Center

Hannah Williams earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary and has specialized training in a variety of treatment techniques including dry needling and in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Hannah has experience with treating a variety of conditions including orthopedic, sports injuries, vestibular conditions, and neurological disorders. Her interest in pelvic floor physical therapy originated during her clinical rotations when an instructor introduced her to the disparity in women's health and pelvic floor treatment which is especially prevalent in more rural areas. This led Hannah to pursue a certification in pelvic floor therapy through Herman and Wallace Rehabilitation Institute. She has experience with a broad spectrum of pelvic floor conditions and dysfunction and understands the importance of addressing both psychosocial and orthopedic contributions to pelvic floor dysfunction. 
 



Megan Wickey, PT, DPT
Pelvic Floor Therapist, Providence Medical Center
 
Megan Wickey, DPT is a physical therapist with Providence Medical Center Rehabilitative Services department. She has specialized training in helping women with pelvic health and pelvic floor dysfunction. Megan received her Doctor of Physical therapy from Rockhurst University in 2012. She has experience in treating orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions. Her interest grew in pelvic floor therapy from her own experience with treatment after her twin pregnancy. She has received extensive post graduate education in pelvic floor therapy, including over 70 hours of continuing education in this area through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Megan is well versed in the biomechanical nature of pelvic floor dysfunction and understands the psychosocial implications of pelvic floor dysfunction. She is excited to be able to work with you to improve your quality of life.


Lesli Barraza, Metro Fitness

Grab a seat and join us for a dynamic chair movement session designed to energize your body and refresh your mind! Whether you're looking to supplement your regular workout or discover simple ways to stay strong and flexible during office hours, this interactive class is for you. Led by Lesli with Metro Fitness, this is perfect for all fitness levels. Come as you are, and leave feeling better than before!This is a bilingual class.

 
SESSION TWO
 

Dr. Lynette Sparkman-Barnes (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist and Multicultural Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center and The University of Kansas Health System’s Professional Wellbeing Center. With over two decades of experience, she has dedicated her career to empowering women and underserved communities through mental health, education, and leadership. Dr. Sparkman-Barnes is a sought-after speaker on mental wellness, identity, and inclusive leadership, with a strong focus on supporting professional women in finding purpose, balance, and power. Her work blends evidence-based strategies with deep empathy, rooted in both clinical training and her role as an ordained minister. In her breakout session, Worth Ethics, Dr. Sparkman-Barnes will guide participants in recognizing their worth, managing workplace stressors, and embracing wellness as a foundation for personal and professional growth.

Johnessia Jones, LCSW
Convergence Counseling Services, LLC 

Johnessia is native of Kansas City, MO, born into a big family, raised by a school teacher and a pastor. She earned a Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2012, and worked as a medical social worker for 12 years.
Convergence Counseling Services uses a holistic approach to achieve wellness of the mind. Johnessia offers a safe zone for exploring lifes challenges and will collaborate with you to develop tools for managing during difficult times. She can help you to break barriers, end generational cycles, cope with illness, and heal the inner self.
