This is the premier KCK Chamber Young Professionals event featuring taco and bbq food trucks, beer tastings, happy hour drink specials, give-aways and more! Join us for the September Business After Hours at the new Stockyards Brewing Co. (formally Golden Ox) in the West Bottoms! Stick around for Thirty Three and a Third Thursday and witness local DJ's spin vinyl records of all genres. 

Why the Stockyards you ask? Not only is the West Bottoms a short five minute commute from KCK downtown, but the two cities have strong historical ties promoting economic collaboration and prosperity on both sides of the state line. And we think that's pretty cool! 

Early developers of what is now known as the city's "Stockyard District" realized they could optimize business by conducting different types of commercial trade and commerce on both sides of the state. This ongoing collaboration eventually led to the development of State Line Road, which is still a driving force for economic vibrancy for both Kansas and Missouri.
