2016 December Symposium - 2017 Economic Outlook
In lieu of First Friday Focus in December, we are hosting a December Symposium presented by Kansas City Board of Public Utilities at the Federal Reserve Bank of KC with guest speaker Jason Brown, senior economist and regional executive. The topic is Kansas and the Federal Reserve's Tenth District Economic Outlook for 2017.

Topic: Kansas and the Federal Reserve's Tenth District Economic Outlook
Speaker Bio: Mr. Brown conducts research on issues related to regional economic growth, emerging industries, and structural change in regional industry and labor markets. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Brown was an economist at the USDA Economic Research Service in Washington, D.C. He holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University in Agricultural Economics, M.S. Agricultural Economics, Purdue University, B.S. Agricultural Systems Management, Purdue University.
