Congressional Forum with Kansas State Senator Jeff Pittman
The Congressional Forum is a 56-year institution, and the Chamber's public policy series, which features local, state, and federal representatives to speak about issues relevant to the area's business community.
This month's featured speaker is Kansas State Senator for District 5 and 2024 Wyandotte Legislative Delegation Chair, Jeff Pittman. Senator Pittman will highlight Wyandotte County Legislative Delegation priorities and provide an outlook for the 2024 Legislative Session in Topeka, Kansas.
Senator Pittman serves the cities of Leavenworth, Lansing, Kansas City, Bonner Springs and Edwardsville. Prior, he served on the Kansas House of Representatives, serving the 41st District. Senator Pittman grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas and graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1989. As the son of a combat veteran, Jeff's family was stationed at Fort Leavenworth several times before calling Leavenworth home in 1984. Jeff has degrees from the University of Oxford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
