First Friday Focus May 2013

The May 3 First Friday Focus will feature Lori Hewitt from USD 500 and Anne Johnston from Prep KC. They will present the school district’s student internship program and other opportunities for businesses to connect with students. Internships within the KCK Public Schools include on-the-job internship programs supported by the Career and Technical Education division in Business, Marketing, Health Careers and Hospitality. Internships are designed to promote exploration of a field of interest, exposure to careers and jobs, and building occupational knowledge and technical skills.
